Navigator

«Navigator» service tariffs and conditions are determined by the chosen tariff offer. All the charges for using «Navigator» service are made from the coordinator’s personal account.

According to «Economy» tariff offer one request is charged 1.50 UAH. For all other tariff offers (except for «Economy») one request is charged 0.50 UAH.

In case the subscriber’s location was not determined (e.g. if subscriber was out of network coverage) such a request is not charged.

If you have specified tracking points on the route, the cell phone’s location is checked simultaneously at each point.

E.g. during 3 hours (every 15 minutes) you track the location of a number on the route where 5 points are specified. In this case you are charged for the number of requests counted as follows: 1 number * 5 points * 4 checks during 1 hour (every 15 minutes) * 3 hours = 60 requests.

You may subscribe to «Testing» tariff offer only if it is your first subscription. This tariff offer is valid till the end of calendar month in which the service was subscribed. After that you will be transferred to «Economy» tariff offer if you have not ordered any other offer by yourself.

You may also send SMS-messages from your computer via «Navigator» service WEB-interface. One message is charged 0.10 UAH.

Changing tariff:

• You may change your tariff to another one with the same number of subscribers on each day of the month, except for «Economy» tariff offer. The difference between old and new subscription fee will be charged from your account. Your application for tariff offer change will be accepted during 24 hours.
  
• You may change your tariff offer to another one with the less number of subscribers or to the «Economy» tariff offer on the first day of the next calendar month. You need to submit your application by 7 p.m. of the last day of calendar month.
  
• Tariff offer change is free of charge.

How to order request packages:

If you need the basic cost to be decreased, you may additionally order request packages.

Package cost is fully charged at once after the subscription.

Request package includes:

• Request for determining one subscriber’s location;
  
• Each request for determining the location during tracking (with specified determination rate);
  
• Each request for determining the location during tracking (reaching/leaving the region or route change).

Request package is valid during 30 (thirty) days after the subscription. Unused requests are nullified at the end of each month.

Primarily the requests provided according to the subscribed request package are used and then free requests provided according to the chosen tariff offer.

If the requests provided according to the ordered request package and tariff offer are already used, each further request is charged according to the basic tariff for 1 (one) request.

You may order unlimited number of request packages during one calendar month. Your application for package subscription will be satisfied during 24 hours.

The opportunity to order request packages is not available in case you use «Economy» tariff offer.

Tariffs are set in UAH including VAT. Additionally Pension Fund fee is charged — 7.5% of the service cost.

Service can be subscribed by the organization coordinator (an employee authorized to deal with services provided by «Kyivstar» Company) with the help of «My Kyivstar» self-care system or by dialing 477.

To adjust the service, a coordinator must be subscribed to «My Kyivstar» system, indicate mobile phone numbers which location must be determined and appoint the «operators» who will track objects and employees’ location.

Roles of «Navigator» service users

Coordinator performs the function of «Navigator» service Administrator who is authorized to:

Appoint roles (Operator or Employee) for using the service. Administrator has no right to appoint his or her own number as Operator or Employee;

• Group employees;
• Edit users’ personal data;
• Change service interface personal settings.

Administrator is not allowed to delegate his or her rights to another user.

After «Navigator» service is subscribed, the Administrator has to distribute Operator and Employees roles among the subscribers.

Subscriber who was appointed as Operator is allowed to do the following:

• Work with a map (add objects to the map, design routes);
• Send SMS to Employees using WEB-interface;
• Collect reports about Employees’ locations (according to date, route and event);
• Edit the subscribed Employees’ personal data;
• Change service interface personal settings (time zone, language and maximum length of information list displayed on a page);

Subscribers whose numbers are subscribed to «My Kyivstar» system and who are to be tracked as Employees have no access to «Navigator» service.

Objects’ and employees’ location determination

Operator has an opportunity to determine the location of an Employee or group of Employees in two ways:

• on-line with the electronic map via WEB-interface service.
• according to the scheduled time plan for checking Employee’s location.

Manual for adjusting and using «Navigator» service

Example 1. Express delivery:

• After getting an order the operator sends delivery address to the courier via SMS, and indicates the zone or object where the goods should be delivered to and the time of delivery on the map. When the courier reaches this zone or object, the operator is notified via SMS. The courier can report the successful delivery by sending SMS to the short number 5148.
  
• Operator will see the response on WEB-interface. If the operator has no information about the location of delivery zone, he or she can find it on the map. The operator will be also notified when the courier leaves that zone or object.
  
• Delivery register can be analyzed to control couriers’ efficiency.

• The company’s clients waiting for delivery can quickly get the information about the location of parcel’s on the route.

Example 2. Cargo transportation:

• The system with a given frequency determines the cell phone's location, which is in the packaging of the cargo.
• Setting route and time of passing on the map, the operator receives a message in case of deviations from the prescribed route.
• Control center manager monitors the speed of delivery.
  

Benefits for you:

• Company gets the opportunity to control the delivery process of expensive cargos in real time. It allows reacting quickly if some changes occur and if it is necessary to change the route (it is especially important for the companies that deal with logistics of goods with short expiration date).
