The “Kyivstar mobile phone” kit includes a SIM card with the “One country” tariff plan and 50 MB traffic for traditional access to the Internet. Duration of the said 50 megabyte traffic is 7 days, the balance being checked with dialing *149# .

“Internet without limits” service

The “Internet without limits” service will allow the use of unlimited access to the Internet wherever and whenever you like without paying for volumes of information sent and received. Only for 1 UAH of the user fee per day – no extra pay for the traffic. To activate the service, please dial *154*1# and press the call button. The first service activation is free of charge, the second and all the others will cost 10.00 UAH.

The tariffs are given in UAH, VAT inclusive. The retirement tax is surcharged in the amount of 7.5% of the service cost, exclusive of VAT.

Description of the «Parental Control» service

Now you can be at ease in your mind about online safety of your child when he or she uses the Kyivstar Internet via mobile phone. «Parental Control» protects your children from the Internet portals that promote violence, pornography and distributing other negative or illegal content. «Parental Control» can be used when using GPRS and WAP-access to the Internet from mobile phone.

New social service from Kyivstar provides access only to a limited list of safe and useful sites for children approved by experts from the G.S. Kоstuk Institute of psychology of NAPN Ukraine. Web sites list can only be edited by Kyivstar experts. All external links which are not mentioned in the safe list of sites will be blocked.

How to use the service?

To install the service, you have to send a USSD-request: dial on mobile phone *100*5*1*ХХХХ#, where XXXX is a password (any four-digit number that contains only 0 to 9 digits) and press the `dial’ button.

Activation confirmation will be sent within 24 hours — you will receive an SMS with the text that the «Parental Control» service is enabled.

Check the service activation by using the request *100*5*3#.

In roaming, «Parental Control» is available on the same conditions as in «Kyivstar». Payment for online services is calculated in accordance with the tariff terms on which you are served in roaming.

Deactivation of the service

To disable the service use special USSD-request *100*5*2* ХХХХ# (where XXXX is a password, used in installation) and press the `dial’ button. The service will be deactivated within 24 hours.

If you forgot your password and wanted to disable the service, you need to contact the customer service center with the appropriate application.

«Parental Control» cost

«Parental Control» service is free of charge.

Payment for the Internet traffic use is calculated in accordance with the user current tariff plan.

Use restrictions

From 09.02.2011 «Parental Control» service is run in test mode for prepaid subscribers. To use the test version of the service, on the cell phone must be installed following access points: (APN): wap.djuice.com.ua, wap.ab.kyivstar.net, CSD-WAP, CSD-WEB, www.djuice.com.ua, www. ab.kyivstar.net, ks, 3g.kyivstar.net, xl.kyivstar.net using technologies EDGE, GPRS and CSD.

The service is unavailable for contract customers and will be automatically deactivated when switching to a contract.

Activated «Parental Control» service blocks access to the Internet, if there running any programs, which do not use the HTTP-protocol (for example, «Opera Mini», ICQ, bittorrent etc.).
